The 152nd Open Championship brought some theatrics just two days into the four-day tournament.
Some of the top players in the world already have their bags packed and are thinking about where they're going on vacation next week, as World No. 2 Rory McIlroy put it after his round.
McIlroy wasn't the only big name to miss the cut. The World's Nos. 4, 5, 7 and 9th-ranked players, including Bryson DeChambeau and Ludvig Aberg, also missed the cut at Royal Troon.
Ten of the top 20 players in the world won't be playing the weekend. Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele are three of the favorites who will be playing two more days.
