The Outlook
Burns is an elite prospect and has shown some great flashes in his limited tour starts. He ran away with the Memphis sectional qualifier by five shots in a field that included about 50 PGA Tour pros to earn his spot this week. I’ll check his draw, and if he gets the correct end of the weather over the first two days, I’ll check his top-20 odds. But he’s a name to remember for fall. After winning on the Web.com Tour, he’s basically earned his 2018-19 PGA Tour card. The swing season is a good time to find golf value with the focus on the NFL. So keep the name in the back of your mind and check back in September.
