The 151st Open Championship will return to Royal Liverpool for the first time since 2014 on Thursday.

Rory McIlroy won it in the last visit to Hoylake. With having won the Scottish Open last week, McIlroy aims to win back-t0-back Opens at the same course for the first time since Tiger Woods.

The Open presents an excellent opportunity to take advantage of ongoing bonus offers from the best sportsbooks in the business. There are also some existing user offers that correlate to this week's major golf event action.

We dove into what each of DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars and bet365 has in store this week below.

Best Open Championship Offers for New Users

DraftKings Sportsbook

Offer: Bet $5, Get $200 in Bonus Bets Right Away

States Available: AZ, CT, CO, NH, IL, IN, IA, LA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, PA, TN, VA, WV, WY

DraftKings Sportsbook will give $200 in bonus value after new users place a minimum $5 bet on any prop. Whether the first bet succeeds or not, new users will see the bonus bets in their accounts instantly.

The bonus bets will expire in seven days. The bonus bets are dispensed in increments of $25. So there will be eight of them to use on The Open.

FanDuel Sportsbook

Offer: Bet $5, Get $100 in Bonus Bets Guaranteed

States Available: AZ, CO, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, WV, WY

FanDuel Sportsbook is offering a similar offer, but with $100 in value. In this case, bonus bets are credited to a new user's account within 72 hours after the first wager settles.

Unused bonus bets will disappear after 14 days at FanDuel.

If you're looking to have the $100 available for Thursday's first tee time, you can use this bet on any Wednesday sport or event.

BetMGM Sportsbook

Offer: Get a First Bet on the House of up to $1,000

Promo Code: TOPACTION

States Available: AZ, CO, IL, IN, IA, LA, MA, MD, MI, NJ, OH, PA, TN, VA, WV, WY

BetMGM Sportsbook will refund new users in bonus bets if their first bet with them loses. You can bet anything up to $1,000 and that will be the amount they see back in bonus value if the bet should fail.

So, if I bet $1,000 on McIlroy to win The Open outright at +750 odds, I would either see the $8,500 payout or get $1,000 back in bonus bets.

Bonus bets at BetMGM expire after 30 days.

Caesars Sportsbook

Offer: Get up to $1,250 and Get Refunded in Bonus Bets if it Loses

Promo Code: ACTION4FULL

States Available: AZ, CO, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, VA, WV, WY

Caesars Sportsbook offers the same sign-up offer as BetMGM, but with a $1,250 ceiling. So, the same example above would apply here but I could place up to $1,250 on McIlroy.

bet365 Sportsbook

Offer: Bet $1+ and Get $200 in Bonus Bets Guaranteed

Promo Code: TOPACTION

States Available: CO, IA, NJ, OH, VA

New users at bet365 Sportsbook will bank $200 in bonus bets with wagers of at least $1 on any Open Championship prop with -500 odds or longer (-400 or +110).

The only requirement to activate the offer is making a $10 deposit.

Top Offers for Existing Customers

DraftKings Sportsbook

DraftKings Sportsbook is offering a +100 odds boost on a parlay of McIlroy, Tyrrel Hatton, Xander Schauffele and Rickie Fowler all to make the cut.

There's also an odds boost of +300 added to any player you pick to win The Open outright. So if I bet on Cameron Smith at +2200, it would be +2500 odds with the boost.

These "odds surge" offers are generally best used for favorites, as taking Scottie Scheffler from +700 to +1000 represents a bigger change in probability than Tony Finau from +6000 to +6300.

FanDuel Sportsbook

Existing users at FanDuel Sportsbook can place a pre-tournament bet on any golfer to win The Open outright and if they don't, but still place in the top-20, they will be refunded in bonus bets.

This is not eligible for parlays or round robins.

BetMGM Sportsbook

BetMGM in select states is offering a $50 insurance promo — bet on any golfer to win, and you'll get bonus bets back up to $50 if they finish top 20.

BetMGM has Open special markets, such as American Winner at +100, Any LIV Player to Win at +400, English Winner at +700 and McIlroy in Final Group at Final Round at +350 or Scottie Scheffler at +375.

Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook has several creative offers available for the tournament, starting with four odds boosts:

  • McIlroy and Scheffler both to finish top-5 at +700
  • Cameron Smith, Colin Morikawa or Shane Lowry to win outright at +950
  • Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas both to finish top-20 at +950
  • Matthew Fitzpatrick and Justin Rose both to finish top-20 at +850

There's also a handful of 3 ball "Quick Picks" available. Here's a couple of examples from Caesars:

  • McIlroy, Taylor Moore and Phil Mickelson 3 ball round one at +1145
  • Harris English, Patrick Cantlay and Tony Finau 3 ball round one at +1520
  • Schauffele, Talor Gooch and Tom Kim 3 ball round one at +1186

bet365 Sportsbook

bet365 is known for advantageous event-driven promotions. For the Open, they're offering a handful of odds boosts to jump on:

  • Rickie Fowler to finish top-20 from +115 to +225
  • Scottie Scheffler to win outright from +750 to +850
  • Brooks Koepka to win outright from +2000 to +2200
  • Rickie Fowler to lead after the first round +3300 to +4000
  • 3 play parlay of Scheffler, Cantlay and Fowler each to place top-20 from +593 to +676
  • 3 play parlay of Koepka, Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau each to place top-30 from +740 to +909
