The Masters has been delayed due to inclement weather around Augusta National Golf Club.

The first round is expected to begin at 10:30 a.m. ET. Poor weather was expected to impact the first round, and the golf club officially moved the start of the Masters at 7:35 a.m. Thursday morning.

Let's examine the latest Masters weather forecast for Thursday's opening round at Augusta National, including a look at the rest of the expected forecast for the weekend.

Masters Weather Delay: Updated Thursday Forecast

There is currently a wind advisory in effect in Augusta that ends at 8 p.m. ET, which means it will impact the entire round. Winds are expected to blow south at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

With thunderstorms falling in the area, the rain is expected to lighten up by 10 a.m. ET with cloudy conditions expected until 2 p.m. ET. More showers are expected in the 6 p.m. ET hour, which could impact groups teeing off in the late groups.

On the upside, Friday's forecast appears to be clear, with no precipitation expected and a high of 72 degrees, but wind will be a factor. Saturday and Sunday are expected to be mostly sunny with highs of 78 degrees and 84 degrees, respectively.

According to odds from bet365, Scottie Scheffler is the Masters favorite at +400, followed by Rory McIlroy (+1000), Jon Rahm (+1000), Xander Schauffele (+1400) and Hideki Matsuyama (+1600).
