Tiger Woods played 13 holes at 1-under Thursday during his first round at the Masters. Woods is tied for 17th and six shots behind leader Bryson DeChambeau (-7) and will resume play at 7:50 a.m. ET on Friday morning on the 14th tee.

Play was first delayed by two hours and 30 minutes because of weather Thursday morning, so Woods' tee time was pushed back from 1:24 p.m. ET to 3:54 p.m. ET.

In addition to the delay, Woods’ group played at a snail’s pace, as the trio — which also included Max Homa (-4) and Jason Day (E) — made the turn in two hours and 50 minutes.

Woods impressed as he dealt with the tougher conditions late Thursday afternoon, when winds were gusting over 30 miles per hour. The course also played firmer as it continued to dry out following the rain that delayed play.

The 15-time major winner got off to a strong start, striping a fade into the par-4 first fairway before hitting his approach from 169 yards to eight feet and knocking the putt in for a birdie.

Woods pulled his tee shot on the par-5 second hole left, then had to chip out left-handed en route to a par to stay at 1-under. He made par on the third hole but dropped his first shot of the round on the par-3 fourth hole, failing to get up and down from beyond the green.

Woods made par on the fifth, sixth and seventh holes, stepping onto the tee at the par-5 eighth hole at even par for the round. He would hit the fairway to 242 yards away before knocking his ball on the green to 41 feet away for eagle. Woods completed the two-putt and moved to 1-under par.

He would make the turn at 1-under after making par on the par-4 ninth hole.

Woods then missed the green in regulation on each of the 10th, 11th and 12th holes but got up and down on all three. He hit his third shot from the bunker on 10 to three feet, his third shot on 11 from short right of the green to one foot and his second shot on the 12th from pine straw behind the green to six feet — and converted all three par putts.

Per DataGolf, Woods ranks 12th in the field after Thursday at +1.19 Strokes Gained: Around the Green.

Woods missed the fairway on the par-5 13th hole well to the right and pitched out through the trees to 191 yards. He would hit the green and two-putt from 22 feet for his fifth consecutive par. The horn blew between his third and fourth shots, but he elected to finish the hole and will tee off on the par-4 14th hole in the morning when play resumes.

Woods’ odds to win moved from 110-1 before the round at bet365 to 100-1 after play finished Thursday. Woods also closed at +120 to make the cut before play began Thursday.

Woods is now +1100 for a top-five finish, +450 for a top-10 finish and +162 for a top-20 finish. Before the round, he was +2000 for a top-five finish, +900 for a top-10 finish and +320 for a top-20 finish, as his odds for each bet have been sliced in half.
