The Outlook

Hatton has missed every cut at the British Open … except for two years ago when he finished fifth. Talk about boom or bust. The Euro Tour player has been very up and down this season, missing four of five cuts in April through June before hitting three straight top 20s prior to this week.

Still, his recent resurgence has been due to a hot putter, and I'm skeptical that will continue under the pressure of a major championship. He could be popular given his links experience, but I'm skeptical the overall game is there right now.
