Valspar Championship Picks 2024
Spencer Aguiar: Sungjae Im +2700 (bet365)
It has been a forgettable year for Sungjae Im after starting fast with a fifth-place finish at The Sentry to begin 2024, but it does feel as if the data is starting to trend again for one of the premier players in the field at Innisbrook Resort.
Im has averaged 4.8 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green over the past two starts as he is quietly putting the pieces together after losing an average of 1.38 strokes Tee-to-Green over his five prior tournaments.
It is going to take an increased return with the putter to reach his full upside, but Im was one of the significant climbers for me in my sheet when comparing his baseline putting to his anticipated totals when faced with green complexes similar to what he draws here at Copperhead.
If the winning score this week at the Valspar Championship is closer to the 10-under range than the 17-under range, Im has a real shot to get back into the winner's circle.

Matt Gannon: Keegan Bradley +4500 (bet365)
Although Keegan Bradley missed the cut by a mile at THE PLAYERS, his struggles were entirely with the putter. He gained a little bit to the field in terms of Strokes Gained (SG): Ball-striking but lost over seven strokes in just two rounds on the greens. By no means is Bradley an all-world putter, but he has been very improved in that category the last two years and should bounce back this week.
The last time Keegan won was this past summer at another positional golf course in TPC River Highlands, and that came off a missed cut at the U.S. Open. That sounds very similar to what could happen this week after a missed cut at TPC Sawgrass. Bradley does not have the best course history around Innisbrook, but he does have a solo second here from 2021.
Despite the close call in the playoff at the Sony Open in Hawaii earlier this season, I believe Bradley still has something to say about missing that Ryder Cup spot and willing his way onto the U.S. Presidents Cup Team.
