The Outlook

Webb and I are on good terms for life. I hit his U.S. Open win at 66-1 and the Players Championship bet at 100-1. He can never do wrong by me, but I won’t be backing him here. He’s a guy who makes the cut consistently at the Open, but hasn't finished in the top 35 in seven years. He might be a good play to round out a fantasy roster, but he’s never really looked like a contender at this event.

The Metrics

Here's how Simpson ranks in the British Open field in several key metrics. For many more, be sure to check out the FantasyLabs PGA Models.
