Week 12 in the National Lacrosse League continues with a handful of matchups on Saturday night, and I’m eyeing one in particular. On Friday, we went 3-1 for +2.1 units, bringing the season total to 34-23-2 and +9.51 units.
Let’s cash some more bets on Saturday.

The 2-5 Las Vegas Desert Dogs travel to Albany following a big 13-8 win over the Colorado Mammoth. The FireWolves enter as slight favorites, looking to snap a three-game losing streak.
Both teams are banged up with Albany potentially missing Jackson Nishimura, Tanner Thomson, Charlie Kitchen and Travis Longboat. The Desert Dogs enter with Jackson Suboch and John Wagner listed as questionable and Travis Cornwall and Marshal King out with injuries.
While Las Vegas looked as good as it has all season in its 13-8 win over Colorado, it benefited from a playing banged-up Mammoth team that has been struggling for weeks now.
I think this matchup with a desperate Albany team is a good time to sell high on the Desert Dogs and buy low on the FireWolves.
While the FireWolves’ last three losses have been concerning — especially when considering the competition — they’re still the superior team when matched up with Las Vegas.
FireWolves goaltender and former 2020 Goaltender of the Year Doug Jamieson has really struggled in his last three games, getting pulled in each contest. Yet, he’ll benefit from facing an offense that has been streaky and lacks the depth of the offenses they’ve faced recently. I think this is a good spot for Jamieson to bounce back.
Bet Albany to bounce back with a win over Las Vegas and to cover the 1.5-point spread (+125 on Caesars.) If you prefer to just back them to win outright, they’re also just -120 on the moneyline.
I also like the FireWolves to limit Las Vegas’ leading scorer, Rob Hellyer. His points prop is set at 5.5 on FanDuel, but he’s gone over this just mark twice this season — both against the league’s worst defense in the Vancouver Warriors.
Bet Hellyer to stay under 5.5 points (+146 on FanDuel).
Pick: FireWolves -1.5 · Rob Hellyer Under 5.5 Points
