With a solid performance in rounds one and two, he’s well-positioned to make his move and take over the lead.
Rory McIlroy, who surged in round two, now finds himself at the top of the odds board. His impressive performance has earned him the favorite status, but with Scheffler and Justin Rose still in the hunt, McIlroy will have to maintain his momentum to claim his first Masters victory.
Masters Tournament Winner Predictions
Although McIlroy is the current favorite, I still see Justin Rose (+800) as a strong contender. Despite his odds dropping after the second round, he remains the leader and has played consistently through the first two rounds. Rose’s ability to stay calm under pressure could see him through to the end, and his odds offer great value for those looking to back the leader.
Rory McIlroy (+330) also remains one of the top picks. His second-round performance has put him in prime position, and with Augusta being a course that rewards accuracy and composure, McIlroy is more than capable of closing the deal. Given his recent form, McIlroy is a solid bet to secure his first Masters title.
