With the year 2024 and “The Eras Tour” ending soon, Action Network has analyzed Google search results of the past 12 months to find out the most searched-for Taylor Swift albums/songs in the United States and 100+ other countries.

THE MOST POPULAR SONGS
According to the results of an analysis which included 200+ songs from Taylor Swift’s catalogue and 100+ countries, …Ready For It?turned out to be the most searched-for song in the most countries — 59 — followed by cardigan and Cruel Summer, respectively. Cardigan was the most searched-for song in 17 countries, while Cruel Summer was the most searched-for song in 13 countries.
When it comes to overall worldwide average monthly searches, Enchanted was the most searched-for song, with 550,000 average monthly searches, followed by Cardigan, Cruel Summer, and Love Story, with 450,000 average monthly searches each.

If we look only at the United States, Bad Blood was the most popular song in the most states — 30 — followed by Cruel Summer and Shake It Off, respectively. Cruel Summer was the most googled song in 10 states, while Shake It Off was the most googled in 6 states.

THE MOST POPULAR ALBUMS
Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, was the most Googled in 76 countries worldwide. The second most popular album was 2019’s Lover, the most Googled in 47 countries.
Lover and The Tortured Poets Department are tied for the number of overall worldwide average monthly searches in 2024, both receiving 673,000 monthly searches. 2022’s Midnights is in third place with 368,000 monthly searches.

Once again, when looking only at the USA, The Tortured Poets Department was the most searched-for album in most states—it was the most Googled in all of the American states except Hawaii, where Lover was the most searched-for Taylor Swift album.
METHODOLOGY
- Action Network carried out the analysis in November 2024
- The Google searches of the past 12 months in 100+ countries were taken into account, gaining data from Google Keywords Planner
- Number of Taylor Swift songs included in the analysis: 219
- Number of Taylor Swift albums included in the analysis: 11
- Since some of Taylor Swift’s songs might have a general name which could skew the search results, the analyzed keywords were in the following format: name of the song & Taylor Swift (for example: “Cruel Summer Taylor Swift”); same format was used for Taylor Swift albums which had a general name (for example: “Midnights Taylor Swift”)
- Since Taylor Swift’s 1st studio album was self-titled, the keyword used was “Taylor Swift debut album”
- Countries with no data results were omitted from the analysis
