The last UFC pay-per-view event of 2022 is set to commence on Saturday night.
And it is one of the biggest UFC cards of the entire year.
UFC 282 features some of the sport's more recognizable names with Jan Blachowicz, Magomed Ankalaev, Paddy Pimblett and Darren Till all set to fight.
Bryce Mitchell vs. Ilia Topuria will set the table for the main card (10 p.m. ET, ESPN+ PPV). Bettors are heavily backing Mitchell, but there could be some sharps who have their eyes set on Topuria.
Mitchell opened as the underdog at +140, but that number has slowly dwindled and currently sits at +115.
Mitchell is getting 80% of the tickets and accounts for 62% of the handle on the moneyline at BetMGM.
The scousers will be out in full voice in Las Vegas. Till is the first Liverpool native to fight, and the bettors are heavily backing him as an underdog. He opened at +115 and has moved to +155 against Dricus du Plessis at BetMGM. Till is getting 82% of the bets and accounts for 85% of the money.
Alex Morono (+150) will then go up against Santiago Ponzinibbio (-185). BetMGM will likely be rooting for Morono as 93% of the money is on Ponzinibbio.
Then it gets really interesting. Paddy "the Baddy" Pimblett is 3-0 in the UFC and will likely face his toughest test yet when he meets Jared Gordon. Bettors aren't worried, however, as Pimblett has gone from a -200 favorite to -275 at BetMGM. He's getting 63% of the bets and 67% of the handle.
And finally, we have the main mvent between Blachowicz and Ankalaev, which appears to be a matchup between pros vs. joes on the betting market. Blachowicz is getting 67% of the bets but accounts for only 32% of the handle. He's gone from +185 to +240 at BetMGM.
It's set up to be a tremendous final PPV fight night of 2022.
