"I've never head of anything like this."

Those were the words of one Vegas oddsmaker, according to Vegas Insider's Patrick Everson, on the news that Dan Ige would replace Brian Ortega in the co-main event of UFC 303 against Diego Lopes on Saturday night.

Lopes opened as a -210 favorite against Ige, with Ige +175. Within minutes, that line had moved to Lopes -260/Ige +210, per Everson. Lopes was bet all the way to -290 at some books before coming back down to the -250 or -260 range.

Straight bets on Ortega vs. Lopes would be refunded by sportsbooks, while parlays featuring the fight would still be action, but with the Ortega-Lopes co-main event removed from tickets.

This is a developing story.
