The UFC is back in action on Saturday evening with a Fight Night headlined by a monster battle between a heavyweight legend and a knockout artist.
Alistair Overeem is now 40 and nearly five years removed from his last heavyweight title opportunity, but he's scored TKO victories in each of his last two fights and looks to keep building momentum against a hungry Russian slugger.
Volkov, 32, rebounded from a unanimous decision defeat against Curtis Blaydes with a knockout of Walt Harris at UFC 254 in October. He's been installed as a -172 favorite to Overeem's +140. A matchup of sluggers isn't expected to last very long, with under 1.5 rounds going at -192 compared to +150 on the over.
The co-main event features Cory Sandhagen against former lightweight king Frankie Edgar in a bantamweight fight. Sandhagen has been installed as a heavy -480 favorite against the 39-year-old former champion.
The preliminary card begins at 5 p.m. ET with the main card following at 8 p.m. ET. Both cards can be seen on ESPN+.
