UFC Fight Night Emmet vs. Topuria Market Report: Main Event Has Sharp Side

The UFC Main Event is much earlier than usual as Dana White and company take the show to Jacksonville, Fla. for UFC Fight Night: Emmet vs. Topuria.

The main card is expected to get things underway around 3 p.m. ET with a middleweight bout between Bruno Silva and Brendan Allen. The bets are about even with Silva getting 52% of the bets and Allen with 48% of the bets. The money is on Allen as the -200 favorite accounts for 71% of the handle after opening at -155 at BetMGM.

Gabriel Santos will take to the octagon as the -225 favorite over David Onama. Santos is getting just 30% of the bets and accounts for 24% of the handle at BetMGM.

Then it will be time for the heavyweights to go at it. Justin Tafa is a -185 favorite over Austen Lane. Tafa appears to be getting some sharp action as he's garnering 54% of the bets and 71% of the money at BetMGM.

Maycee Barber vs. Amanda Ribas make up the Co-Main Event as the highly-anticipated women's fight of the night. All the betting attention has gone towards Barber as she's received 76% of the tickets and 82% of the money at BetMGM. Her odds have gone in the opposite direction, however, as she opened at +145 and is currently +165.

Josh Emmet is receiving most of the public action in the Main Event against Ilia Topuria. Emmet opened at +240 and is currently +275 but he's garnered 77% of the bets and accounts for 44% of the handle. It appears the sharps are playing Topuria in this bout between two of the top featherweights.
