The month of May is officially upon us. While Justin Timberlake memes likely come to mind for the majority of people, motorsports aficionados immediately think of the Indianapolis 500.
The NTT IndyCar Series just wrapped up a doubleheader at Texas Motor Speedway, meaning the rest of the month is all about Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The GMR Grand Prix will take place on the famed-speedway's road course on May 15, followed by preparation and eventually the Indy 500 on May 30.
With all eyes now turning toward the Brickyard, Indy 500 odds are popping up at more and more shops, including DraftKings Sportsbook.
Following a win and a fourth-place finish over the weekend doubleheader at Texas, Scott Dixon is now the Indy 500 favorite at +600 odds.
Andretti Autosport's Alexander Rossi is next at +700, with Team Penske drivers Josef Newgarden (+800), Simon Pagenaud (+900) and Will Power (+900) completing the five most likely winners.
Two-time winner — and defending Indy 500 champion — Takuma Sato is +1200, while last year's pole sitter, Marco Andretti, is +2200 in what will be his first IndyCar race of the season.
Here's a look at updated Indy 500 odds as of May 3.
