*Odds via Caesars as of Wednesday morning
Daytona 500 qualifying will get underway at 8 p.m. ET (FS1) on Wednesday and lock in the front row for Sunday's race while also setting lineups for Thursday's Bluegreen Vacations Duel races (7 p.m. ET, FS1).
Laying down the fastest time brings along the prestige and obvious advantage of optimal track position to start NASCAR's biggest race, motivating sportsbooks to offer Daytona 500 pole odds for eager bettors.
Because this is the iconic Daytona 500, motorsports bettors are jonesing at the opportunity to get some action down for NASCAR's Super Bowl, even if it's on single-car qualifying runs.
Daytona 500 Pole Favorites
Did you know legal NASCAR betting is coming to the Tar Heel State? North Carolina sports betting is expected to go live in March!
When it comes to the pole at the Daytona 500, you immediately think of Hendrick Motorsports, and that's exactly what the odds reflect.
Hendrick cars have swept the front row in the Great American Race in four of the last five years, with Alex Bowman on a streak of six straight front-row starts, including three poles.
Unsurprisingly, Bowman is the favorite to win the pole at +450 odds.
Teammate Kyle Larson, who won the Daytona 500 pole two years ago and qualified second in 2023, is right on Bowman's heels at +475.
Hendrick Motorsports' William Byron, the 2019 polesitter, sits third on the odds board at +700 with Chase Elliott, who posted the fastest qualifying time in 2016 and 2017, rounding out the top four at +750.
Next in line is Stewart-Haas Racing's Chase Briscoe at +1000, followed by Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin (+1100), Richard Childress Racing's Kyle Busch (+1100), Team Penske's Ryan Blaney (+1200) and 23XI Racing's Bubba Wallace (+1200).
