Daytona 500 pole odds have quickly become a fun way for bettors to get down on NASCAR's biggest race.
Qualifying for the Daytona 500 will get underway at 8:15 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and the latest odds provide valuable insight regarding which drivers are favored to lock in a front row starting position.
There are also opportunities for NASCAR bettors to find value, which the Action Network's Nick Giffen has already expertly done with this 50-1 value pick— a bet that I've personally tailed as well.
And in addition to this Daytona 500 pole winning longshot, I'm also grabbing one of the betting favorites to be the fastest qualifier on Wednesday night.
Daytona 500 Pole Pick
Kyle Larson is 10-1 to win the pole for the Daytona 500 at Caesars Sportsbook, and despite being the co-favorite with Chase Elliott, I like this number quite much.
Larson and his No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports team won both poles at Daytona last season, which is even more important considering it was the first year with NASCAR's Next Gen car.
This team also qualified fifth at Talladega in the spring and second at Talladega in the fall, showing just how much speed the car has had at the large, superspeedway races.
And when it comes to the Daytona 500 pole in recent years, it's been all Hendrick Motorsports.
Seven of the last eight pole winners for the Great American Race have come from the Hendrick stable of cars, and last year specifically, these four cars posted the fastest, second-fasted, third-fasted and fifth-fastest Daytona 500 qualifying speeds.
The pick: Larson (+1000) to win Daytona 500 pole
