I love the Daytona 500.
If forced to pick only one race to watch this weekend, I'd of course pick the Daytona 500.
But if forced to bet on only one race at Daytona this weekend, then we'd have a problem.
If you shot me with truth serum, or simply hung around for more than five minutes, it's very likely I'd admit that I'm most excited to bet on Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series Beef. It's What's For Dinner. 300. (5 p.m. ET, FS1).
And yes, that is the correct punctuation for Saturday's XFINITY Series race at Daytona, and no, I'm not going to reference it again in this article because it's a style nightmare.
So if you're interested in tailing or watching horror as all of these go down in a ball of flames on Saturday, here are my first three bets for the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Daytona.
NASCAR Odds, Picks for Daytona
Myatt Snider to Win (25-1 at BetMGM)
If I could make only one bet for this race based on the latest NASCAR XFINITY Series at Daytona odds, it would be Snider 25-1 to win the race.
To be frank, I'd take almost any experienced and capable driver, which Snider is, in equipment as strong as Joe Gibbs Racing's at 25-1.
I know, hard-hitting analysis, isn't it?
Parker Kligerman to Win (25-1 at BetMGM)
I've been eyeing Kligerman for this race since he announced that he'd be driving the No. 48 Chevy for Big Machine Racing full-time in 2023.
First off, this car is essentially a Richard Childress Racing machine and therefore has plenty of speed at superspeedways like Daytona.
Jade Buford qualified third in the No. 48 one year ago and was very much in contention for the win before crashing late in the race.
Kligerman then got a spot start in this car at Talladega in October, qualifying ninth and finishing in sixth.
Kligerman also has two wins at Talladega in the Truck Series, proving that he is adept at this style of pack racing.
Kaz Grala for Top Toyota (+550 at Caesars)
The key to this wager is that there are only five Toyotas in the race, so there are many ways for Grala to win this wager.
In addition, Grala will be behind the wheel of the Sam Hunt Racing No. 26, which isn't exactly Joe Gibbs Racing equipment, but is still very solid when compared to the field as a whole.
He has also proven to be a very skilled superspeedway racer in a limited sample, which includes a Truck Series win at Daytona in 2017, two top fives at Daytona in the XFINITY Series and a sixth-place finish at Talladega in the Cup Series in 2021.
