Rain has been the biggest NASCAR storyline this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
All track activity, including the XFINITY Series race, Cup Series practice and qualifying and the Coca-Cola 600, were washed out, setting up a NASCAR doubleheader at Charlotte on Monday, May 29.
The XFINITY Series will get the action started at 11 a.m. ET, with the Cup Series running the Coca-Cola 600 at 3 p.m. ET.
In addition, based on the latest NASCAR odds, there is one pick offering plenty of value ahead of Monday's Coca-Cola 600.
Let's take a look.
NASCAR Pick for Coca-Cola 600
*NASCAR odds as of Monday morning
I'm a simple man (pauses for laughter).
And since both practice and qualifying were rained out on Saturday night, I'm grabbing one simple bet for the Coca-Cola 600: the starting position of the race winner.
With the starting lineup set by the "qualifying metric," here are the drivers who will start from 11th-20th: Chris Buescher, Kyle Larson, Harrison Burton, Ross Chastain, Tyler Reddick, Justin Haley, Joey Logano, Martin Truex Jr., Ty Gibbs and Chase Briscoe.
This group includes the consensus favorite in Larson, as well as other top drivers like Chastain, Reddick, Logano and Truex, among others, who are also capable of stealing a win if strategy comes into play.
As a result, I'm grabbing the Coca-Cola 600 winner to come from starting positions 11-20 at +150 via FanDuel Sportsbook.
This bet gives us multiple paths to winning with very little downside, which is what I'm looking for in situations in which practice and qualifying are rained out.
