Sunday's Cup Series Pennzoil 400 (3:49 p.m. ET, FOX) at Las Vegas Motor Speedway shows Kyle Larson as the clear favorite based on the latest NASCAR odds.
Larson (+330) is followed by Joey Logano (+700), William Byron (+700), Christopher Bell (+1000), and Ryan Blaney (+1000) at Caesars Sportsbook.
However, I'm bypassing the outright market altogether and am instead focusing on a head-to-head driver matchup as my favorite NASCAR pick for Sunday's race at Las Vegas.

The Legacy Motor Club cars struggled mightily during Cup Series practice on Saturday.
Both John Hunter Nemechek and Erik Jones were outside of the top 30 in single-lap speed and sat toward the bottom of the practice sheet in every long-run metric.
As a result, I'm fading Jones in a head-to-head driver matchup against Daniel Suarez.
As mentioned above, Jones showed very little pace in practice, ranking 33rd in single-lap speed and 32nd of the 35 drivers who made five-lap runs.
Suarez, on the other hand, posted the 23rd-fastest lap and the 18th-fastest five-lap average.
In fact, Suarez's 10-lap average was better than Ty Gibbs, Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin and Alex Bowman.
And perhaps most importantly, Suarez and Jones were in the same practice group yesterday, meaning their speeds were posted during very similar track conditions.
Based on the data above, I'm taking Suarez at -130 odds to finish ahead of Jones in Sunday's Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas.
The bet:Daniel Suarez over Erik Jones (-130 at Caesars)
