Speedweeks continues on Saturday with the XFINITY Series' United Rentals 300 (5 p.m. ET, FS1) at Daytona — well, assuming that the NASCAR weather report cooperates.

The NASCAR weather forecast for Saturday is incredibly wet, with rain expected throughout the day at Daytona International Speedway.

In fact, today's United Rentals 300 is in jeopardy of at least a delay, and potentially even a postponement, if the latest forecast holds true.

Below we examine the updated NASCAR weather report for Saturday, including how much rain could fall at Daytona.

NASCAR Weather Report for Saturday

On March 11, North Carolina sports betting fans will be able to get down on NASCAR at legal sportsbooks. Get the latest news.

According to the National Weather Service, there's a 90% chance of rain in the area on Saturday, with up to a half-inch of precipitation possible.

While Daytona  does have lights, meaning that NASCAR could theoretically run today's race after the sun sets, the chances of rain increase to 100% tonight.

A look at the hourly breakdown shows an 87% chance of rain at 5 p.m. ET — the scheduled start time of Saturday's XFINITY Series race.

That percentage remains at or above 87% into Sunday afternoon, which may not provide enough of a window to get in today's race, especially considering how long it would take to dry the track.

There's also a 90% chance of rain on Sunday, and with the Daytona 500 scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, NASCAR may be forced to push the United Rentals 300 out to Monday.

For those wondering, Monday's NASCAR weather report includes just a 20% chance of rain should officials ultimately postpone the event.
