Daytona Speedweeks is awesome.
Obviously, the crown jewel of the week is Sunday's Daytona 500, but as the name implies, this week is loaded with on-track action which is music to ears of NASCAR bettors.
As anyone who follows me on Twitter likely already knows, I love the NASCAR XFINITY Series as a fan and bettor. The racing itself is an entertaining product while the series often provides some very nice value for NASCAR bettors.
This week is no different as Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300 (5 p.m. ET, FS1) is offering one of my favorite bets of Daytona Speedweeks across all series.
NASCAR XFINITY Series at Daytona Pick
*Odds as of Wednesday morning
This bet is certainly about the driver, but it's even more about the equipment.
Landon Cassill is a NASCAR veteran with 326 Cup Series starts and 176 XFINITY Series starts under his belt. The problem is that Cassill has never really had the stability of top-notch equipment for an entire season.
Well, until this season.
Cassill will pilot Kaulig Racing's No. 10 Chevy, the same car that won at Talladega in April with Jeb Burton behind the wheel.
In addition, Kaulig Racing has absolutely dominated at the superspeedways as an organization in recent years, scoring six wins on this track type over the last three seasons, including a victory from Justin Haley in the series' most recent visit to Daytona.
This car is going to be fast on Saturday, with two equally speedy teammates to work with, which is something that Cassill probably hasn't experienced since driving for Hendrick Motorsports and JR Motorsports very early in his career.
The Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300 field is absolutely stacked, but I'll gladly invest in one of the XFINITY Series' fasted superspeedway cars with an experienced driver at the mid-tier price of 20-1 at DraftKings Sportsbook.
