DraftKings has released odds for when James will become the all-time leader in points in the NBA. The sportsbook has also released props related to the record.

The first date for James to break the record is Jan. 28 vs. Boston at +20000 odds.  The most likely occurrence is for James to break the record during a week stretch from Feb. 7 to 15.

The current favorite date for James to become the NBA's all-time leading scorer is Feb. 9 vs. the Milwaukee Bucks. Those odds are currently listed at +230. The next closest is Feb. 11 vs. the Golden State Warriors at +245.

It would take James 15 games at his career rate of 27.2 points per game to reach 399 points. The Feb. 11 matchup against the Warriors is 15 games away.

It would take him 14 games to reach 399 points at this season's scoring rate of 29 PPG. The Feb. 9 matchup against the Bucks is 14 games away.

The game afterward has the third-best odds at +310. And if James is ahead of pace? Circle Feb. 7 on your calendar for a date against the Thunder in Los Angeles.
