While March Madness has captivated the nation, college baseball continues to reveal contenders in conference play.
Teams often struggle on the road against elite competition, with the biggest evidence coming from the ACC.
Florida State had a meteoric rise into the Top 25 before a sweep by our preseason darling Clemson. NC State took a narrow series victory at home against Duke, while former No. 1 Wake Forest survived against Louisville.
National contending teams have also won on the road in the SEC, as Arkansas took two of its three games from Auburn.
Alongside Arkansas as a national contender is Florida, bouncing back from an early-season swoon to take the series at Alex Box Stadium against LSU. There's no doubt the Tigers, Razorbacks and Gators have been the most impressive teams thus far in the season.

Both the Razorbacks and Gators will meet the weekend of April 26 at Baum Walker Stadium in Fayetteville. That series will crown a new No. 1 in college baseball.
This weekend will see a number of high-profile matchups, the biggest coming from the top team in Division I. Arkansas will play host to LSU starting Thursday night, as the Razorbacks' starting pitchers continue to dominate conference play.
Alabama will also look to get back on track while playing host to a rising South Carolina roster.
Elsewhere in the SEC, Florida looks to knock Mississippi State out of the Top 25. The pesky Bulldogs challenged against Texas A&M last weekend, taking a game from the Aggies.
