This week's edition of midweek college baseball best bets features two ranked matchups: No. 15 Wake Forest vs. No.24 Coastal Carolina and No. 21 Dallas Baptist vs. No. 25 Oklahoma State.
It just so happens that I'm taking the favorite in both games.

Wake Forest vs. Coastal Carolina Pick
The rivalry between Wake Forest and Coastal Carolina has been building up over the past few seasons with talent littered all over the field.
This year's midweek meetings will be on different days, but in these types of matchups, the intangibles can play a significant role.
The Chanticleers host this one, and that's huge for them. Not only are they expected to sell out Spring Brooks Stadium tonight, but their park is notoriously hitter-friendly, and they're set to benefit most from that.
The starting pitchers have yet to be announced at the time of writing, but given that it's a midweek game, we shouldn't anticipate much length from either starter. Once the bullpens take over, the Chanticleers have the edge.
The back end of the Coastal Carolina bullpen has been tremendous. It boasts a team ERA of 1.93 after the sixth inning this season.
As for the Demon Deacons, their staff numbers have been inflated by great outings from their starting pitchers against weaker competition, but multiple bullpen arms are due for sizable regression.
That regression should help Coastal Carolina's bats get back on track. The Chants have struggled at the plate over their last seven games despite being 5-2 in that span.
This is a sell-high spot on the Demon Deacons, and the Chanticleers are the team to buy tonight.

Oklahoma State vs. Dallas Baptist Pick
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are a team many pegged to win the Big 12 this season, but a 9-6 start fueled by sluggish bats leaves many questions surrounding this matchup with the Dallas Baptist Patriots.
The Cowboys have been cold offensively over the last week, ranking 185th in team batting average and 154th in wOBA. Meanwhile, the Patriots have been swinging it well, ranking 58th in wOBA and 110th in OPS over the past seven days.
On the mound, we're still without announced starters, but both staff have been solid and are due for positive regression. With that being the case, it's hard to see Oklahoma State snapping out of it at the dish, especially against a DBU team that run-ruled No. 13 Oklahoma last Tuesday.
Unlike the matchup above, this is a case of two teams trending in opposite directions, and the Patriots should continue to rise through this matchup.
