Texas A&M vs. Tennessee
Texas A&M's Ryan Prager (-145) vs. Tennessee's Chris Stamos · Total: 12.2
There's plenty of love for Tennessee in the market, as the Vols sit as favorites of -160 or greater at most sportsbooks.
However, we have Texas A&M's Ryan Prager projected as a -145 favorite against Tennessee's combination of Chris Stamos and AJ Causey.
Prager has a clear advantage over the Vols, so I would take the Aggies to -120 if he starts. If he doesn't, I'd still play Texas A&M at +110 or better.
In terms of a total, wind and stellar defense have played a major role in this year's trip to Omaha.
Game 1 is expected to give the batters a clear advantage for the first time in the College World Series, as sustained winds out to center field are expected at 10 mph.
While that will likely change on Sunday and Monday, we'll take an over in Game 1.
