It's time to take a look at the Texas A&M Aggies vs. Tennessee Volunteers odds and make a pick and prediction in our College World Series betting preview for Game 3 of the CWS finals on Monday, June 24.
The script could not have been any better for Tennessee during Sunday's Game 2 victory over Texas A&M.
The Volunteers didn't knock Aggies starter Zane Badmaev early, but reliever Chris Cortez was chased from the middle of the game after throwing 99 pitches. Tennessee forced five walks against the Aggies' flamethrower, leading to freshman Kaiden Wilson coming out of the bullpen to hold the lead.
On the other side was Tennessee ace Drew Beam and junior Aaron Combs, who combined for eight innings and a single earned run.
Key hits for Tennessee in the seventh and eighth innings ultimately vaulted the Volunteers into Monday's championship series finale.
Tennessee head coach Tony Vitello will have his most important bullpen pieces available, as Nate Snead and Kirby Connell combined for 19 total pitches on Sunday.
On the other side, Texas A&M's Justin Lamkin last pitched on Wednesday, holding back Florida's power-hitting offense. Head coach Jim Schlossnagle will look to get four innings out of his starter, which means Josh Stewart and Evan Aschenbeck will be the first options out of the pen for the Aggies.
As for Tennessee, Vitello will turn to senior Zander Sechrist. Also a southpaw, Sechrist has made 18 starts this season and has not allowed more than three earned runs in any game.

Betting Picks & Prediction
Tennessee’s Sechrist, Connell and Snead project as -120 favorites over A&M's combination of Lamkin, Stewart and Aschenbeck.
The Volunteers are heavily favored in the market, but our plays from the opener and Game 2 have produced a Texas A&M Game 1 winning ticket along with a series price on Tennessee before Game 2.
If you have a Tennessee series wager from our previous article, backing Sechrist is the play here.
As for the over/under, the Game 2 total didn't approach the closing number of 11.5. Tennessee and Texas A&M left 16 runners on base, going 4-for-32 with runners in scoring position.
The wind will be stronger on Monday night, blowing in from right field at 16 mph with the heaviest gusts coming after 7 p.m. local time.
Schlossnagle and Vitello are expected to have a quick trigger finger with the bullpen, limiting any damage from the opposing offense.
