Week 4 brought another wave of mass attrition to the $14.27 million Circa Survivor NFL Pick ‘Em contest, with this week’s primary culprit being “the goddamn Jets.”

Aaron Rodgers & Co. lost a brutally ugly 10-9 game to the Broncos in the Meadowlands mist, eliminating 110 contestants — or 17% of the remaining field of 642 — who’d pegged the Jets as their surest straight-up victor. With two Monday Night Football games bearing the potential to narrow the field even further, just 480 (or 3.3%) of the original 14,266 Survivor entrants remain — a historically low level at this point in the season.

On the upside, the favorite that drew the most Week 4 support among Survivor contestants, the San Francisco 49ers, cruised to victory against New England, keeping hundreds of hopes alive.

Among the upsets that claimed the highest percentage of Survivor entrants through the first three weeks of the season were the Patriots beating the Bengals, the Raiders defeating the Ravens and Tampa Bay toppling Detroit.
