A lucky player left Mesquite, Nevada over the holiday weekend as a multi-millionaire.
The player turned a $5 bet into a nearly $12.4 million jackpot at Virgin River Casino & Lodge on Sunday, according to a press release.
The lucky winner was playing Megabucks Spitfire Multipliers Red Hot 7s.

The person who won does not want to be identified, but we do know that they are not from Mesquite.

This is a slot machine jackpot for the ages. The only recent win that even rivals it is one that hit on a Wheel of Fortune machine in Las Vegas. The record-breaking win in Michigan in November is also in the conversation.
