FanDuel’s founders are working on a new venture.
Nigel Eccles and Rob Jones are joining forces again to start BetHog, a crypto casino and sportsbook. They plan to attract players with new and innovative casino games that focus on fair play using the Solana (SOL) blockchain.
“The crypto casino market has seen dramatic growth over the past few years driven by innovations like provably fair games, robust VIP programs and streaming,” Eccles said. “With BetHog, my goal is to innovate even further by bringing unique and highly visual games to market. I want to offer users unique play-along and skill-based titles, combined with a robust VIP offering, but most of all, this is about maximizing fun for our users!”
Drawing from their experience in creating entertainment products, BetHog Originals presents fresh versions of crash and mines games, along with a new approach to competing against other players. They also include a unique feature that lets players join in with their favorite streamers.
BetHog supports Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT and offers a wide variety of games to players around the world, except in regions with restrictions, like the USA and UK.
Online Gambling Built on Crypto
Solana is the cryptocurrency designed to run on the Solana blockchain, which is intended to host decentralized, scalable applications.
The company’s business plan is inspired by the slow growth they see in the gambling industry and the problems they experienced at FanDuel before leaving in 2017.
This is Eccles' second venture into crypto-gaming after successfully launching BetDEX, a Web3 betting exchange. He is eager to revolutionize iGaming by introducing new skill-based games that use blockchain technology.
BetHog will use a targeted marketing strategy to promote its digital gambling product and warthog theme, mainly because it only accepts cryptocurrency.
