FanDuel announced Thursday that its new sports betting app is now available and open for betting. Similar to DraftKings, which launched its own mobile betting app weeks ago, FanDuel's app will accept wagers from New Jersey bettors over the age of 21.

While there are few details regarding the features of the app, the current sports offered are football, baseball, basketball, golf, hockey, boxing, MMA, soccer and tennis.
According to the app's listing in iTunes, bettors will be able to play spreads, moneylines, over/unders, parlays, round robins, futures and teasers as well as in-game betting options.
Screenshots also suggest props will be available in some capacity.
With Thursday's Atlanta Falcons-Philadelphia Eagles matchup kicking off the 2018 NFL season and college football already underway, getting the app live ahead of NFL Week 1 games was key for FanDuel as it attempts to play catch-up with DraftKings.
