If you’re going to find gold anywhere, it’s probably going to be in the hills of California.

Giving new meaning to the phrase "There's gold in them hills," a life-changing moment unfolded earlier this week at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino. One lucky person hit an astounding slot machine jackpot of nearly $800,000.

The lucky winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was spinning the reels of the Frankenstein slot machine at California’s Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.

But there is nothing scary about this.

Huge Jackpot Hits on Frankenstein Slot Machine

When the wheels stopped spinning, the machine prompted the lucky guest to call the attendant for a hand pay, revealing that they just hit a jackpot worth  $771,688.89.

The win ranks as the largest jackpot recorded on the Light & Wonder Frankenstein slot machine at the casino, marking a thrilling milestone for both the winner and the venue.

The casino even posted a picture of the winning machine on its X (formerly Twitter) account.

Frankenstein Slot New to Chukchansi Casino

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is nestled in the picturesque Sierra Nevada foothills. It has long been a destination for gaming enthusiasts in California. However, the Frankenstein slot machine is a recent addition to the Chukcansi casino floor.

Since its introduction, this slot machine has rapidly become a favorite among guests, drawing attention with its exciting theme inspired by the classic tale of Frankenstein.

"Its innovative features and spooky theme, inspired by Mary Shelley's iconic monster, have drawn significant attention,” said Deann Kamalani, marketing director for Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.

He added that it is already creating unforgettable moments at the casino.

It’s nice to know that more than 150 years after the gold rush, people are still striking it rich in The Golden State.
