There’s only one thing better than stuffing your face full of food on Thanksgiving Day. It’s hitting a casino jackpot and stuffing your pockets full of cash.
A gambler from Corpus Christi won a life-changing jackpot of over $691,000,000 on Turkey Day.
The player, identified only as “B.G.” on the casino’s website, was playing the "Frankenstein" slot machine at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass, Texas.
They bet just $6 when the jackpot message appeared and instantly awarded $691,289.48.
“The winning guest, whose identity is being kept confidential at their request, experienced the thrill of a lifetime turning a routine visit into an extraordinary moment,” the casino said in a press release.
How The Frankenstein Slot Machine Works
The Monsters Frankenstein slot machine won the top performing 3rd Party IP branded game at the EKG Slot Awards in 2023.
It offers a 5-reel setup and Cash Top Box feature. You can activate the game by landing "Power Up" symbols on the first reel, enhancing your chances with added multipliers.
Key features include the "It's Alive" bonus, which grants credit prizes and multipliers, and the "It's Jackpots" bonus, offering jackpots and multipliers. You can enjoy a Free Games bonus round with 8 free spins on a 5x5 reel set, where stacks of "It's Alive" or "It's Jackpots" symbols can multiply your winnings by up to 5x for monstrous payouts.
Landing the "It's Alive!" bonus symbol on the first reel animates the Monster, who then pulls cash from the Top Box for you. Reap more rewards in the Free Games feature by repeatedly powering up the Top Box and collecting additional cash with each "It's Alive" symbol.
The Frankenstein slot machine also features haunting music, too.
Not The Only Slot Machine Jackpot Awarded
But B.G. wasn’t the only huge holiday win at the Lucky Eagle casino. M.E from Princeton took home $50,000 from the Polar High Roller game, according to a Facebook post by the casino.
The Thanksgiving Day jackpots come on the heels of another massive win earlier this month at the casino. A person identified only by the initials “L.K” kicked off the month by winning over $1.2 million on Dancing Drums Explosion. The Laredo, Texas native made it a November to remember for sure.
Located near the Texas-Mexico border, Eagle Pass is almost 150 miles southwest of San Antonio.
