However, her disbelief turned into joy when she visited the lottery headquarters, where she was handed a check for over $226,300 post-taxes. The timing couldn't have been better for the woman, who mentioned her daughter is expecting her first grandchild.
Both wins are reminiscent of last month, when a simple wager on the Elephant King slot turned into a life-changing event for another Kentucky Lottery player who hit the progressive jackpot.
