A Michigan man may be visiting Nevada more often.
Gregory Morey, a tourist from Michigan, had an unforgettable day at Emerald Island Casino in Henderson. He played the Journey to the Planet Moolah slot machine and hit the jackpot, winning an impressive $516,008.46.
The casino featured an image of Greg with his winning machine on its website.
Emerald Island General Manager, Tim Brooks, also shared the excitement in a press release.
“All we could hear is his shouts of, ‘I am rich,’” Brooks said. The win turned an ordinary day into an extraordinary one for Morey. Brooks added, “Every day is a great day at the Emerald Island Casino, and for Gregory Morey, this proved to be more than true.”
Morey was thinking about extending his stay, after hitting it big. He originally came to Emerald Island for the food, but he left with much more than he expected.
