They were told the event would be unforgettable. It's safe to say, it's something they'll never forget.

A legion of MrBeast fans, drawn by the lure of a high-stakes event, found themselves disillusioned and out of pocket after the much-anticipated "MrBeast Experience" in Las Vegas, billed as a grand celebration under the star's brand, ended up being a major disappointment.

Fans, ardent followers of the YouTube sensation whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, took to social media to vent their frustrations after the promised experience at Resorts World fizzled out, leaving each of them short by $1,000.  A TikTok user who attended the event lambasted the fiasco as "false advertising," labeling the experience as "horrible."

But all is not lost.  Not only will they get their money back, but they'll also get a trip to the MrBeast studio in North Carolina.

MrBeast is now trying to get the word out to those who attended.

A Costly Letdown in Sin City

The fans who attended the Las Vegas event are part of the 385 million-strong subscriber base. MrBeast is one of the world's most-followed YouTubers, but each attendee had shelled out a lot money for a three-night stay at Resorts World, Las Vegas.

They expected exhilarating games akin to MrBeast's trademark productions and a shot at winning a $10,000 prize. Instead, attendees found themselves mostly confined to their hotel rooms with little to show for their investment. Complaints mounted as participants reported receiving only a smattering of MrBeast-branded chocolates and off-sized T-shirts.

"I was told to wait in my room for two days for a package to come, so I legit spent two days in my room for a package to come, and it was a box of chocolates," Theresa Metta told KLAS-TV.

Amid growing frustration, many guests were seen confronting Resorts World employees, asking why the event failed to deliver on its promises.

Resorts World is part of the Resorts World brand. It was the site of the Stardust Resort and Casino until 2007. It's not to be confused with Resorts Online Casino out of New Jersey.

A Public Apology From MrBeast

In response to the uproar, MrBeast stepped in with a public apology, acknowledging the event's failure to meet expectations.

Donaldson assured his community, "My team’s already on it — I’d love to personally make it up to you and anyone else by inviting everybody affected to tour my actual studio! Can’t wait to meet you all and my team is reaching out to everyone.”

He also announced on his X account that everyone will get their money back.

MrBeast's primary studio, known as Studio C, is located in Greenville, North Carolina. This facility spans 50,000 square feet and costs $14 million; it serves as the place where he and his team design the sets for his videos.

He also owns other studios and properties in the area. WNCT-TV reports that they're known as Studio A and Boundary at West End.

Not the First Time for Disappointment

This isn't MrBeast’s first run-in with controversy in Las Vegas. Donaldson's enterprises orchestrated a Squid Game-style competition for 2,000 participants at Allegiant Stadium last year. The event, now streamed on Amazon Prime, has resulted in even more serious allegations and a lawsuit.

mrbeast real name is Jimmy Donaldson and he recently announced a partnership with Resorts World Las Vegas.
MrBeast is considered to be the world's most popular YouTuber.

Five contestants filed a lawsuit against MrBeast and Amazon, claiming they suffered "chronic mistreatment," sexual harassment, and deprivation of medical care, food, and basic hygiene essentials during their participation.

For now, the ill-fated Las Vegas event has been quietly scrubbed from Resorts World’s website, but it remains an unresolved chapter for fans who are still seeking satisfaction and clarity.
