We have more NBA player prop controversy, this time involving Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo during Sunday's win over the Washington Wizards. And it affected multiple player prop betting markets.
Antetokounmpo notched his ninth rebound in the waning seconds of the game, dribbled the ball virtually the entire length of the court and posted up right underneath the basket.
A meaningless, yet calculated, shot attempt off the glass appeared to credit Antetokounmpo with his 10th rebound and a triple double.
However, ESPN's Zach Lowe reported Monday the NBA waved the rebound off, stating a player must shoot "with intent to score a field-goal" to count as an attempt.
Here's the full view of the play, where you can hear the announcers question whether the attempt actually counted.

So far there has been no word on whether the ruling will cost bettors who wagered yes on an Antetokounmpo triple double — it was as high as +1000 at some books.
This certainly isn't the first time a single NBA play's been under the microscope, ultimately altering player prop odds.
Jae Crowder's rebound prop was in flux during a regular-season game last January. On opening night of this season, both Anthony Davis and James Harden were the center of prop controversies.
The Bucks covered Sunday as 5.5-point favorites over the Wizards. It was an immediate bounce back following the team's loss Saturday night against the 76ers, which snapped a 16-game win streak.
Milwaukee — riding an 8-0 run both straight up and against the spread the last eight road games — is in Orlando Tuesday night.
