Netflix has announced that it will air the NFL's two marquee Christmas Day games in 2024 — Chiefs vs Steelers and Ravens vs Texans — exclusively on its platform and at least one holiday game in 2025 and 2026.
It's part of a new three-year deal between the streaming giant and the NFL and comes on the heels of Netflix announcing other live events like The Roast of Tom Brady and Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson.
Netflix tapped into doing content with the NFL with the series Quarterback and will expand the format with the Receiver series, which will air this summer.

In a statement released by Netflix, Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria said “there are no live annual events, sports or otherwise, that compare with the audiences NFL football attracts. We’re so excited that the NFL’s Christmas Day games will be only on Netflix.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to be the first professional sports league to partner with Netflix to bring live games to fans around the world,” NFL Executive Vice President of Media Distribution Hans Schroeder added in the statement. “The NFL on Christmas has become a tradition and to partner with Netflix, a service whose biggest day of the year is typically this holiday, is the perfect combination to grow this event globally for NFL fans.”
The NFL will officially release the full schedule tonight at 8 p.m. ET on the NFL Network.
