While at the California Hotel & Casino, she decided to try her luck at a game of Pai Gow poker. She placed a bet of $25 per hand and added a $1 side bet that increased her chances of winning a progressive jackpot. 

Lucky Gambler Hits Seven-Card Straight Flush

To her surprise, she landed a seven-card straight flush, one of the rarest poker hands. This incredible hand won her a jackpot worth $510,855. 

The casino celebrated her win by posting a picture of her holding a giant check and announcing her victory via social media.

The win was reminiscent of the large progressive jackpot that was paid out to another lucky player last month at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas. The unidentified gambler also landed a 7-card straight flush playing Pai Gow Poker, and rivaled the straight flush hit by another lucky player in California
