Lodge Mahal may never be the same.

In what some are calling an exciting development for poker enthusiasts, the Lodge Card Club in Texas has brought on board two new polarizing figures in poker, Nikhil "Nik Airball" Arcot and Ethan "Rampage" Yau, as investors.

This announcement was made via social media on X:

The announcement also came from Doug Polk on YouTube. He is a well-known American poker player and co-owner of The Lodge.

"I think these two men have a playstyle that will fit nicely with The Lodge Card Club ownership group," Polk said in the video.

Doug Polk: The Voice of Poker

Doug Polk isn't just a professional poker player; he is a formidable presence in the poker community with tournament earnings exceeding $10.5 million.

Beyond the green felt, Polk is recognized for his outspoken commentary on the game, using platforms such as his YouTube channel, Doug Polk Poker, and the Doug Polk Podcast, to reach a wide audience.

In his announcement video, Polk described the new investors as "two of the largest personalities in poker today, and they certainly make things more entertaining." He also said that "Poker is a game that you need to generate interest in the game itself in order for viewers to enjoy their experiences and feel compelled to root for their heroes."

Both Rampage and Airball draw significant attention and viewership, particularly on shows like Hustler Casino Live.

Nik Airball: From Unknown to Poker Personality

Nik Airball made his debut in 2022 on the popular poker show, Hustler Casino Live. Initially, he played lower-stakes games on the show but soon advanced to high-stakes games. As a former investment banker, Nik quickly gained attention and became a well-known and sometimes controversial figure on what has become the most-watched poker livestream in history.

Ethan "Rampage" Yau: Poker Vlogger and High-Stakes Player

Ethan "Rampage" Yau is a well-known poker player and vlogger. He shares his poker experiences through videos on YouTube and other platforms. Rampage is famous for playing in high-stakes games, including participating in massive live-streamed cash games, like one where the buy-in was an incredible $1,000,000.

Expanding the Texas Poker Scene

The Lodge Card Club, co-owned by Polk, Andrew Neeme, and Brad Owen, is already a renowned name in Texas poker circles. Situated in Round Rock, near Austin, it operates the largest card room in the state, with a second location in San Antonio.
