The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas. But the lights are bright and the jackpots big on the Las Vegas Strip, as a Texas couple recently found out.
The couple, identified only as Jennifer and William, is from Wylie, Texas. They won nearly $105,000 on a slot machine at The Strat.
When it was all said and done, the couple walked away with the $104,611 jackpot they won on a large Double Jackpot Triple Blazing Sevens machine. The resort even shared a picture of them moments after their big win on its X feed.

People often say everything's bigger in Texas, so even when you're not in Texas, go big. Jennifer and William did, and it paid off. But it's still not as big as the $259,000 progressive jackpot a man recently hit in Vegas on a $1 bet.

The Big Shot is a catapult ride that shoots you 160 feet into the air at 45 mph. You can also try X-Scream, which propels you head-first 27 feet over the edge of the Tower. Or, suit up, and jump off a platform that’s 855 feet in the air and safely glide to the ground, courtesy of the world's highest controlled descent.
Think of it as the slowest feet-first bungee jump you’ll ever make, but without the bouncing, bungee part.
