You don't need to be in a Las Vegas casino to spend a lot of money quickly. Or, maybe the next time your buddy tells you he has VIP passes to the game, you may not want to volunteer buying all of the food while you're there.

Las Vegas-based professional sports bettor Bill “KrackMan” Krackomberger shared a cautionary tale on Twitter. While watching the UNLV Rebels defeat the San Diego State Aztecs game from a VIP box at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday, a friend of his learned the hard way about Allegiant's expensive VIP box food prices.

His friend spent $653 on pizza and wings.

Krackomberger posted photos of the food, and the receipt, on his X account. The high-priced meal included pizza, wings, and an itemized receipt. Krackomberger did not hold back in what he wrote on the post. He said, “Never realized what it was going to cost for this slop. They treat the luxury suite guests like they are in a club with bottle service.”

Itemized Receipt Reveals All of The Charges

A closer look at the receipt reveals all of the charges. It wasn’t just the food his friend was paying, there were some fees on there, too. The receipt listed the following breakdown:

  • $300 for a pepperoni pizza ($50 per slice with taxes and fees)
  • $190 for chicken tenders
  • $112 for an “administrative charge”
  • $50.48 for sales tax

But here’s the crazy part: Those are just the charges. The 23% administrative charge, according to the receipt, doesn't go to the service employees as a tip or gratuity.

So, tack on another $150 for tip (if you’re tipping 23%). Little Caesar may have fallen out of his chair at this point.

Krackomberger's Social Media Blows Up

Krackomberger's Tweet, which struck a nerve, quickly went viral. Within a few hours, it had amassed more than a half-million views and numerous outraged comments. One man wrote: “Idk what is worse… $300 for 6 slices of pizza or $190 for overcooked chicken tenders.”

As of about noon ET on Monday, more than 1.6 million people have seen the post on X, and more than 1,000 people re-posted it on their feeds.

According to his bio on the Legal Sports Betting website Bill "KrackMan" Krackomberger is a well-known sports bettor in Las Vegas and other US sportsbooks. He has lived in Nevada for over 20 years, but is originally from New Jersey.

He moved to the desert before the 2008 economic recession because he was confident in his ability to bet on sports for a living. He has been featured on ESPN, Fox, CNN, and Showtime, and has recently launched his own sports betting advice app, offering free and paid picks for subscribers.

Throughout his career, KrackMan built his career by taking advantage of promotions, bonuses, and free play offers. He also says that one of the biggest keys to his success has been knowing when to quit. It’s a strategy that has contributed significantly to his gambling career achievements.

He has really mastered the ins and outs of legal sports betting, and he is also a renowned poker player. Now, he may have to master finding an affordable meal at a football game.

Allegiant Stadium Not Considered The Priciest

The next time, he may pass on the food in the VIP box and head over to a concession stand. Although not cheap by any means, a pizza at concessions is much more affordable than in the box. There, you'll pay roughly $40 for a full pepperoni pizza, not the $300 KrackMan’s friend spent on a pie in VIP.

Or you can opt for a hot dog and beer, and get out with only spending $13.oo. Ironically, Allegiant Stadium isn't even the most expensive stadium for concessions in the NFL. That honor goes to Seattle's Lumen Field.
