Vegas Matt celebrated reaching a million subscribers on YouTube in the only way he could. He gambled $1,000,000.

Matt hit the milestone over the weekend and headed straight to the casino to celebrate. Why? Because he became the first slots influencer to ever reach one million subscribers on YouTube. He now holds the status of YouTube’s top-ranked gambling streamer.

He posted a picture of himself with a cake and a bottle of champagne on his X account.

Slots Fan reports that Vegas Matt racked up almost 39 million views in January. He had nearly three times more views than anyone else.

His new subscriber count was even more impressive. In January, 85,000 people subscribed to his channel, setting a record for slots channels since Slots Fan started keeping track.

Who Is Vegas Matt?

Vegas Matt's real name is Stephen Matt Morrow. His nickname combines his middle name with his love of Las Vegas, where he currently lives.

He once worked as a Hollywood producer, but now he's known for playing high-stakes casino games and sharing his experiences on his YouTube channel. He rivals influencers like Brian Christopher.

Matt is worth about $1 million, thanks to his successful streaming career and smart gambling wins. He earns money not just from his slot wins but also from brand partnerships and sponsorship deals with various casino-related companies.

Fans love his enthusiasm, honesty, and genuine style, which have made him one of YouTube’s top creators. He has posted over 1,000 videos on his channel.

Which Casino Games Does Vegas Matt Play?

Vegas Matt streams with his crew, including popular members E.J and WBG.

With over a million subscribers, Vegas Matt features many different slot machines. He once won $250,000 on a Wheel of Fortune slot and $150,000 on a Buffalo Gold slot.

In fact, some of their favorite games are also available at online casinos, including Buffalo Gold, and other like:

  • Dancing Drums Prosperity
  • Wolf Peak
  • Regal Riches

You’ll also find him at the tables.

He occasionally branches out to enjoy high-limit blackjack, poker, baccarat, and roulette. Although video poker differs somewhat from live play, he successfully won $20,000 during PokerGO’s Celebrity Poker Tour in September 2024.

He’ll provide gambling insights and poker tips on his channel, too.

What Happens On The $1,000,000 YouTube Celebration?

You’ll get a little bit of everything in his $1,000,000 for 1,000,000 subscribers video celebration, including, for the first time ever—WBG on camera.

He even posted a picture on his X account.

If you’d told me years ago that my friendship with Matt would turn into what it is today, I never would have believed it. Every day, me and the boys get to wake up, have an absolute blast, and share unforgettable moments with so many of you who watch our adventures. I couldn’t be… pic.twitter.com/dHRnhEEqgl

But Vegas Matt wasn't taking pictures. He recorded the whole thing and uploaded the video to his YouTube channel. He said he came to the casino with a half-million in cash, and the rest was in casino bonuses. He also said that he was wearing his lucky underwear—they’re apparently green.

He plays some slots and table games. Some of the highlights include $1,000 spins on a Panda Magic machine, the insane bonuses he hit on a Dragon Link Golden Century slot, and the coup de grâce—a $100,000 bet he places while playing baccarat. Even he was afraid of what might happen.

Regardless, Vegas Matt stands as the undisputed king of the slots streaming world, boasting one million subscribers. Don't expect any full-time slots streamers to catch up to him soon; he has built himself a lead of nearly 300,000 subscribers.

It remains to be seen how much further he can climb.
