Thanksgiving is just over a week away, meaning we're quickly approaching arguably the best NFL betting day of the year as well.
The 2021 NFL Thanksgiving slate includes its now traditional three-game schedule: Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions, Las Vegas Raiders vs. Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills vs. New Orleans Saints.
The NFL is now ingrained in the Thanksgiving holiday tradition for many families, so sportsbooks are getting ahead of next Thursday's games by posting early odds for all three matchups.
NFL Thanksgiving Odds
*Odds as of Nov. 16 and via DraftKings Sportsbook
Bears vs. Lions Odds
12:30 p.m. ET | FOX
- Spread: Bears -3
- Over/under: 45
Is "putting the worst first" the opposite of "saving the best for last?" Because that's what we're getting for the NFL's Thanksgiving slate.
Of course we'll all be watching (and probably betting), but Detroit, as just a 3-point underdog, may have its best chance to break into the win column in this matchup, which makes Bears vs. Lions interesting in its own, unique right.
Raiders vs. Cowboys Odds
4:30 p.m. ET | CBS
- Spread: Cowboys -7
- Over/under: 54.5
Based on the Raiders vs. Cowboys spread, this is expected to be the least competitive of the NFL Thanksgiving matchups, but it's also arguably the most compelling of the day.
Bills vs. Saints Odds
8:20 p.m. ET | NBC
- Spread: Bills -4.5
- Over/under: 48
With the New England Patriots hot on their heels, the Buffalo Bills might feel the pressure on the road in New Orleans facing a Saints team that is now very much in the NFC South picture, sitting just one game behind the division-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
