2022 Super Bowl Odds
2022 Super Bowl odds have settled as we enter the weekend, with the Rams positioned as 4-point favorites against the Bengals. The spread and over/under have shifted since odds opened on Championship Sunday, pushing the Rams from -3.5 to -4 (and as high as -4.5, a number you can still occasionally grab at some books) and the total from 49.5 to 48.5 points.
The Rams are the second team in as many seasons to clinch a Super Bowl berth in the same year their home stadium was slated to host the big game. It's also their second trip to the Super Bowl since Sean McVay became their head coach in 2017. That first trip didn't go as the Rams had hoped — a 13-3 loss to the Patriots ended the 2018 NFL season — but this time they'll have Matthew Stafford instead of the since-traded Jared Goff at quarterback.
It's been much longer since the Bengals last made the Super Bowl, though. This will be their first trip since the 1988 season. Their postseason run has been improbable to say the least, but there is still work to be done.

- Opening odds: Rams -3.5; 49.5

We've been tracking how the odds have shifted since Championship Sunday here, but the high-level summary of movement is that the Rams were quickly bet up from the opening spread of -3.5 to -4 — where they're still available at some books — but now find themselves oscillating between -4 and -4.5 across the market (compare real-time odds at various sportsbooks here).
The over/under, meanwhile, was initially driven up as high as 50 points in the hours immediately after odds opened. But it quickly fell to 48.5, where it's stayed for much of the past week.
