C.J. Stroud is still the odds-on favorite to go No. 1 in the 2023 NFL Draft over Bryce Young and others.

But PSA to bettors: There will absolutely be some drama down the finish line, at least according to latest odds movement.

Stroud had been fairly expensive chalk to go first overall roughly the last month. However, FanDuel moved both Stroud and Young to -110 on Thursday, April 6, before the Ohio State product was bet back up.

With the 2023 NFL Draft just weeks away, let's see what we have in store for the grand finale.

Stroud's peak in the market was the Panthers-Bears trade that moved Carolina to No. 1 overall. He was re-priced at -115, but immediately bet up to -225.

Stroud finished top four in Heisman voting both seasons as Ohio State's starter. His 41 touchdown passes ranked second nationally in 2022, despite not having Jaxon Smith-Njigba — who's chalk to be WR1 — virtually all season.

Young won the Heisman Trophy at Alabama in 2021. He quieted size concerns, measuring in at just over 5-foot-10 and 204 pounds.

The SEC's littered with trendy quarterbacks ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, including Kentucky's Will Levis and Tennessee's Hendon Hooker.

The only other contender for No. 1 overall pick might be Florida's Anthony Richardson, whose enjoyed one of the more fun rides across the odds board.
