'Tis the damn season! Football is back, and you know what that means — Taylor Swift will once again be gracing my television screen for maybe 30 seconds during a three-hour broadcast.
I. Can’t. Wait.
The moment Taylor showed up at Arrowhead Stadium just about a year ago was The Moment I Knew there was a huge opportunity to make sports (and sports betting) a more inclusive space, and the wheels started turning. I talked to pretty much anyone who would listen to me yap about Taylor and football and betting — some were already big sports fans, others were casual fans, and some literally couldn’t name a single other player besides Travis Kelce. But all these people had one thing in common: they’d all LOVE to go to the Eras Tour.
So I thought to myself, how can we create a fun way and a safe space for Swifties to enjoy the spirit of the season and learn more about the game? After all, you’ll hardly be able to go anywhere without hearing about Brad’s fantasy team or Chad’s 7-leg parlay for the next few months. Why not us?
And I knew exactly what I had to do: I had to convince my boss to let me create a free to play NFL picks game with the chance to win a trip to the Eras Tour. And it finally worked — what can I say? I’m a Mastermind.
So now, I unveil to you the "Tix Pick 6" — a completely FREE game with the chance to win up to 13 entries per week in our grand prize contest to win a trip for two to the Eras Tour in Vancouver.

How to Play The "Tix Pick 6" Taylor Swift Eras Tour NFL Free Picks Game
Each week, you’ll make six picks related to Taylor Swift and the NFL.
The first two picks will be related to Taylor. They could be related to her attending the game, or her shows once she’s touring again, or even some trivia. You can score up to six points from these questions.
The last four picks will all be questions related to the Chiefs game that week, intended to teach you some basic betting concepts — spreads, totals and player props. These are each worth one point. Don’t worry if you don’t know what any of that means; I’ll be writing a weekly preview article explaining the questions and I’ll include analysis from our experts so you can make informed choices.
I’ll also hide a secret bonus answer within my preview article worth three additional points. Those points will turn into entries in the grand prize drawing for Eras Tour tickets.
Who can play?
Anyone can play as long as they’re 21 years or older at the time of sign up and a United States resident. The game is absolutely geared toward Swifties and those new to betting, but my hope is that everyone will feel welcome to join in on the fun.
So how do I sign up for the Taylor Swift free-to-play NFL picks contest?
Go to tixpick6.actionnetwork.com — again, you must be 21 at the time of sign up — to create an Action account. Note: game play is not available on the Action App; you will make your picks each week at tixpick6.actionnetwork.com. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win and no purchase or payment of any kind will increase your chances of winning. There is a limit of one entry per contestant. Making multiple entries under different identities will get you disqualified.
Can I make changes to my picks after I’ve made my selections?
Yes! You can make changes up to game lock, which will be just a minute before the Chiefs game kicks off that week. But be advised: if you make a change to any of your picks, you will be required to unlock and re-select all five of your picks.
To make edits, go to “my picks” and click “view my picks” then scroll to the bottom of that page and click the “Cancel & Play Again” to make your new selections.
I’ll be updating my preview article throughout the week to make sure I update for any injury news, weather, etc. that could affect your choices so I’d definitely recommend looking over your picks again before kickoff.
How long is this contest, and when will we find out the winner?
The contest is 10 weeks long and will end on Nov. 10, 2024. We’ll announce the winner on the leaderboard and on Action Network platforms on Nov. 11.
Can I join after the season starts?
Yes! You can join in whenever you want. If you miss a week, that’s fine too! All it means is you’ll just have fewer opportunities to win entries in the final contest.
How do I change my leaderboard name?
You can check the leaderboard every week to see how many entries you have and what the odds of you winning are. There’s information below on how to change your name should you need to.
Follow these steps to change your username in a web browser:
- Go to the Action Network home page.
- Click the three bars in the top left, scroll down to click “Log In”
- Once logged in, click on the profile icon in the top right, click “Settings”
- Scroll down and click “Edit Profile.” Update your leaderboard name by changing “username,” then click “Update” to complete the process
- The next time you log in to play Tix Pick 6, your new leaderboard name will appear.
Follow these steps to change your username in the Action App:
- For new users, log in or click “Get Started” as soon as you enter the app
- Click “My Action” in the bottom right corner of the screen
- In “My Action” click on the three dots in the top right corner, and select “Settings”
- In “Settings”, click “Profile Information,” where you can change your username and it will automatically save any changes
- The next time you log in to play Tix Pick 6, your new leaderboard name will appear.
Am I competing against Action Network experts?
While some of the experts may join in, they won’t be eligible for any prizes.
