2024 Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds: Williams, Harrison and Daniels Early Favorites

The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft is in the books, and with a record 23 offensive players selected on Day 1, odds are already out for who will take home this year's AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.

A quarterback or wide receiver has won the honor in each of the past five years: C.J. Stroud, Garrett Wilson, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Herbert and Kyler Murray. So, perhaps it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that quarterbacks and wideouts have the nine lowest odds at DraftKings, and 13 of the top 14.

The lone exception is tight end Brock Bowers, who was taken 13th overall by the Las Vegas Raiders.  However, it’s worth knowing that a tight end has never taken home the award.

So, who are the early favorites to be named AP Offensive Rookie of the Year?

Newly minted Bears quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams has the best odds at +200. Right on his heels is Marvin Harrison Jr., who was the first non-QB taken at No. 4 overall by the Arizona Cardinals. Harrison is +600, followed by two more QBs in the Washington Commanders' Jayden Daniels (+650) and Minnesota Vikings' J.J. McCarthy (+800).

Overall, 12 of the players with the 20 best odds were taken Thursday night. Eight remain, including every running back, as not a single rusher was taken in the first round for the third time in NFL history. Those with an asterisk indicate a player who has yet to be drafted.
