Unless you've been living under a rock, you could have guessed that Patrick Mahomes (+145) is still hold strong as the favorite to win Super Bowl MVP despite the fact the Chiefs are 2-point underdogs ahead of the Big Game. The real story, however, is Travis Kelce, who has been getting attention for everything but football all week (never ask your barber for the Kelce cut, people).
Kelce is the most-bet player to win Super Bowl MVP (19%) at BetMGM, according to John Ewing. One bettor has a $10K wager on Kelce to take home the hardware at +1300 odds.
Again, this should come as a surprise to no one with the Taylor Swift effect that has followed Kelce all season showing up for Super Bowl 58. Not only is he the most-bet player to win MVP at that sportsbook, he has the most betting tickets to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl, too.

Patrick Everson of Vegas Insider wrote on Friday about the growth of Super Bowl props since the 80s and one quote from Ken Fuchs, head of sports for Caesars Entertainment truly captures the amount of interest bettors have in Kelce in all facets of the Super Bowl:
"To give you an example [of props' impact], I think today, as we go into the weekend, Travis Kelce to score a touchdown has more bets than either the 49ers spread or moneyline market."
